Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all club facilities, including the bar, dining areas, kitchens, toilets, offices and general common areas.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and maintain floors throughout the premises.

• Clean and sanitise tables, chairs, benches, counters, windows and other surfaces.

• Regularly clean and disinfect toilets, washrooms and high-touch areas.

• Empty rubbish bins and ensure waste is disposed of appropriately.

• Restock toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels and other cleaning supplies.

• Maintain cleanliness of entrance areas and outdoor spaces where required.

• Ensure cleaning equipment and chemicals are used, stored and maintained safely.

• Report maintenance issues, damage, hazards or any safety concerns to the Club Manager.

• Follow the club’s cleaning schedules, health and safety procedures and hygiene standards.

• Assist with additional cleaning duties as reasonably required by management.

 Health and Safety Responsibilities

• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufacturer instructions.

• Place warning signs when cleaning wet floors.

• Maintain safe and tidy working conditions at all times.

 Required Skills and Attributes

• Good attention to detail and personal hygiene.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Reliable, punctual and responsible.

• Physically capable of performing regular cleaning duties.

• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
