Duty Manager

Super Liquor Raglan is looking for a responsible and customer focused to join the team. The role involves ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring all legal alcohol sale and licensing requirements are followed. Previous retail or duty manager experience, strong communication skills, and a current Duty Manager certificate are preferred. 

Job description

  • Support Staff during shifts
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the store.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service. 
  • Check customer identification and follow all legal requirements for alcohol sale. 
  • Maintain a safe clean and well presented store.
  • Handle cash, stock and general duties as required. 
  • Ensure company policies and procedure are followed.
  • Loading and unloading the stock, Must be comfortable with lots of lifting. 

Requirements

  • Minimum  2 year experience in retail or hospitality as a Duty Manager/Supervisory role.
  • Must hold a current Duty Manager Certificate and LCQ.
  • Weekend availability is essential and available to work public holidays when required
  • Must be comfortable working late shifts with closing time up to 10:00 pm 
  • Strong understanding of responsible alcohol  sales and compliance.
