I am an experienced events and project coordinator with over 20 years working for festivals and arts organisations. I have had the privilege to coordinate arts based projects here in NZ as well as Liverpool, Seoul and Zambia and have led two large scale events for Auckland Arts Festival. My six years at Arts Access Aotearoa has equipt me with extensive knowledge of inclusive and accessible practices to support  people with disabilities. Most recently I worked for Pataka Art + Gallery in Porirua. During my three years there, what I loved doing the most was coordinating community engagement projects alongside local Pasifika and Maori communities;learning about their culture, trying their artistic practises and sampling traditional dishes! Events included Matariki celebrations, Waitangi Day and the twelve Pacific Language Weeks acknowledged by Aotearoa.
