Registered Nurse – Raglan Rest Home and Hospital (0.8 FTE)
Confident RN wanted to lead the floor, make strong clinical calls, and support a tight team caring for 34 residents. Must have 2+ years’ experience and be ready to work autonomously. Perfect for someone local or keen to relocate to Raglan.
The role:
Raglan Rest Home and Hospital is looking for experienced Registered Nurses in aged care to join our team. We offer strong management, high-quality care, and a warm, homely environment and training opportunity. This is a permanent role with 32 hours per week full-time.
Managing residents’ everyday needs, from clinical to end-of-life care
Creating and following long term care plans as well as clinical assessments
Taking charge of the care centre on certain shifts and making appropriate clinical decisions
Delivering planned nursing care and evaluate progress in partnership with the resident and their family to enhance their daily lives.
Providing guidance and direction to the caregivers on shift
Building trusted relationships with residents and their families
What we are looking for:
Based at our beautiful Raglan Rest Home and Hospital, Raglan, we are looking for a permenent Registered Nurse to join our fun, friendly and supportive team. We are looking for a confident RN to lead the floor and work independently. Min 2+ years’ experience required. Great role for someone local or relocating.
What You’ll Need:
– A current Practicing Certificate (APC)
– A minimum of 2 years’ RN experience
– Excellent assessment skills, and the ability to guide and mentor staff on shift.
– Living locally or being willing to relocate to Raglan is ideal, as this role is part of our small, close‑knit community.
