Little Daisy

Features

Wild Raglan Ranch is a unique rural property set on Te Ākau Wharf Road, positioned between the wild west coast and the calm of Raglan Harbour.

Spread across orchard land and open paddocks, the property is made up of a collection of individual stays and shared spaces, each with its own character. At its heart is Flavio’s Avocado orchard, surrounded by a mix of fruit trees, gardens, ponds and wide rural views.

Accommodation across the property includes:

Little Daisy – a restored retro caravan with its own private outdoor area and fire pit, private bathroom located in the main lodge. Set in native trees it is abundant with birdsong, the sound of a nearby waterfall and the west coast surf. A very natural, grounding experience.

Gumnut Hut – a self contained, private cabin overlooking a pond with outdoor kitchen, fire pit and deck. Large queen bed and quality handmade furnishings and art. Access to West Wind utilities cabin. Under development.

West Wind Cabins – two rustic cabins set on a large lawn with expansive views, fire pit and a utilities cabin including a bunk room. Cabins have sunset views from large double glazed, tinted windows and a small, private deck. Each cabin has a double/queen bed with handmade furnishings and art. Under development.

The Lodge – a larger ranch style home with multiple bedrooms, a bunk room, open living spaces and areas for gathering. 2 bathrooms, large kitchen with multiple cooking hobs and a large opening wall onto the BBQ/entertaining area. Handmade features make this a remarkable, rustic experience with quality handmade furnishings and furniture also. Under development.

Each space offers a slightly different experience, from cosy and private to larger group stays.

The property is approximately five minutes from the Raglan harbour boat ramp and a short drive to Raglan township and west coast surf beaches, offering a balance of seclusion and accessibility.

Wild Raglan Ranch is an evolving project. Over the past 18 months, the land and buildings have been gradually restored and work is still ongoing in some areas. While each accommodation space is being brought up to a comfortable standard, the wider property reflects its ongoing transformation.

This is not a polished resort, but a real working property with character, history and a focus on simplicity, nature and outdoor living.

Guests can expect a relaxed, rural environment with open space, fresh air and the sounds of nature — a place to slow down and experience a different pace of life.
