The WRDMO collaborated with the Whāingaroa Environment Centre (now merged with Xtreme Zero Waste) to develop the Raglan Growers Market (RGM).The RGM aligns with a key WRDMO goal to ensure that a successful destination can provide a visitor a local experience.
The RGM held it’s first market on Friday 12th November 2021 is held weekly every Friday between October – April.
The objective is to create a flourishing market where local growers can bring homegrown produce to the wider community, strengthening community food resilience and well-being, supporting the local food grower economy, and contributing to environmental health.
